I was on a "budget" for my daughter's wedding and was concerned about the flower costs. She had a total of 18 people in the bridal party plus family members that needed flowers. Desiree not only provided those but also the centerpieces for 11 tables. She did an outstanding job for an extremely reasonable price! She was also very patient with any changes that came up. I contacted Desiree via email regarding my Dec 2011 wedding. I saw some of her pieces online and assumed they were too good to be true or would be on the pricey side. I spoke on the phone w/Desiree anyway and met face to face. I have always been skeptical about paying someone up front without physically holding a sample of the merchandise. Also if someone had told me they work out of their home, RED FLAGS would fly all over the place; however I didn?t get those flags with Desiree. She walked me through pricing and advised me of different flowers that would complement the dresses of the bridal party. She was a great listener and she was a HUGE part in helping to make my big day gorgeous, sentimental and fierce. I was completely taken care of and after our meeting I had no doubt that she for SURE was going to bring my vision to life. She was so patient with the indecisive bride :o) She took me to Shinoda to get all my supplies for my DIY projects and helped me perfect them by adding her own spin to things. Desiree's delivery was prompt, the flowers were fresh and arranged meticulously, the ribbon was the exact color and perfectly tied, and I knew the bouquets and boutonnieres were created with love and passion. I live in San Antonio TX but had my wedding in San Diego. My exchange with Desiree was done entirely by internet and yet she managed to put together the loveliest corsages, boutonnieres and bouquet.. I got married on June 14th, 2010, and unfortunately had some bad experiences with vendors--not Desiree! From the first quote to the wedding day, I felt completely taken care of, and she definitely came through. She spent a lot of time making sure all the colors were just perfect. She was also really understanding when I added on flowers toward the end. The flowers were all packaged nicely, and flowers looked great even by the end of the wedding. I got married Oct 08th and we used Desiree for our flowers. Everything she put together for us was beyond our expectations. Desiree put together 14 centerpieces, my bouquet, 5 bridesmaid bouquets, corsages, 10 boutonnieres, flowers for the aisle and the cake table. She also put together two extra huge flower arrangements that were just amazing! Desiree was able to work around my schedule and even drove up to Escondido to have our initial meeting. She even took the time to meet me at Michael's and we picked out ribbon and rocks for the vases. The flowers she ordered turned out just as we planned. My wedding started at 4:00 and the flowers were very fresh and lasted for days afterward. Her work is beautiful, she was very professional, nice, and easy to work with and her prices were fair.
